Holy Week Meditation
Holy Presence
Christ's story that forms us.
A still, small voice;
in the hoping, in the waiting, in our very heart beating.
Memory and touch, words and experiences.
Prayers, echoes and flesh that have shaped us and connect us on our journey of faith.
On this Holy Week
Rest
in the constancy of emptying and releasing,
of filling and restoring.
Celebrate your ability to feel.
Give thanks for a soft body, open mind and responsive spirit.
Make space for holy imagination.
Corps Bara Dance Theatre is a thriving contemporary dance company that explores life's meaningful questions. We intentionally invite the spirituality of each artist into the creation and performance of dance works, by including spiritual practices, discussion, discernment and the fostering of vulnerability within our community's processes.
These Holy Week meditations were inspired by Corps Bara's Resonant Soul; a weekly guided Visio Divina practice using artfully crafted dance films that focus on hopeful themes, like breath, joy, renewal and empathy. We would love to share these with the Unmooring community at Corpsbara.com/resonant-soul.
